PLANS

PLANS, it’s not just the name of a Death Cab For Cutie album…

We all have plans….

what are your PLANS for dinner.

what are your PLANS for the weekend.

what are your PLANS for your career.

how about your PLANS for your marriage and kids.

we all have PLANS, but the real question to ask is what do we have PLANNED for our futures, is it what we want or what GOD wants? this is a tough topic and one that is easy to struggle with, we all want to do what is going to reap the greatest rewards and bring us the best possible joy. I can tell you that if you seek God and what his PLANS are for your life than your rewards will be so much greater than if you went at it alone and didn’t even ask the Lord what he has in store for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 says: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This is God’s truth, His promise to us, that even though the path that He has picked out for us may seem like it will have struggles or may take us out of our comfort zone and challenge us to do things that we normally wouldn’t dare to do. That if we seek His will for our lives and follow Him that we won’t be harmed but we will have the best possible life, more than we could imagine.

Seek Him. Ask Him. Follow Him.
